OC River Walk Granted Additional $5 Million of Funding

The City of Anaheim was awarded an additional $5 million for the OC River Walk project from the US Department of Transportation, making the total awarded funding in grant funding date $10 million ($5 million was previously awarded by the California Coastal Conservancy). OC River Walk is a recreational and economic enrichment project that enhances and highlights a nearly two-mile reach of the Santa Ana River corridor, spanning Ball Road to Orangewood Avenue. PACE is under contract with the City of Anaheim to perform engineering services, including design of riverbank modifications, impoundment facilities to create a static body of water in the river for recreation, trail enhancements, a multi-modal bridge crossing the Santa Ana River, and placemaking public art installations.
