Unique Water Recovery Project is Dedicated

On Friday, 11/2/15, representatives from Santa Margarita Water District, the County of Orange, Rancho Mission Viejo, PACE, project consultants and community stakeholders gathered at the newly constructed Gobernadora Basin to celebrate the completion of a one-of-a-kind water recovery system. Gobernadora Basin is a truly unique multi-functioning 26-acre basin system capturing and recycling urban nuisance runoff, while providing additional key benefits including regional flood protection and improvement of water quality.
