Awards

Town of Quartzsite Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades

AZ Water Association and AZ APWA (American Public Works Association Arizona Chapter) recognized the Quartzsite Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements and Tyson Wash Manhole Protection Project, designed by PACE, for demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, using an innovative approach to existing resources, and meeting the growing needs of the community with minimal impact during construction.

A Creative Design Approach

LA Times Today: A solution to our water problem, hiding in plain sight at Magic Johnson Park

“LA Times Today: A solution to our water problem, hiding in plain sight at Magic Johnson Park,” a showcase park and community amenity developed by LA County, recently re-opened and features a unique sustainable water management system. PACE played an integral part of the team with AHBE/MIG and Paul Murdoch Architects by designing an advanced water recycling system that captures urban runoff (dry and wet weather first-flush flows), treats the captured flows using ozone, coagulation, and water conditioning, and recycles the water for onsite irrigation.
