New ADA Standards for Pool/Spas

A new law was enacted on March 15, 2012 regarding handicap accessibility in pools and spas. The 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design became the standard for facilities to be readily accessible to individuals with a disability.

An innovative watershed management planning tool has been developed to provide watershed-specific support for integrating water quality, hydromodification, water supply, and habitat protection issues as part of selecting and designing BMPs to meet the requirements of Water Quality Management Plans (MWQMP).

Advancing Anaheim's Water Reservoir and Treatment Operations

The PACE environmental water laboratory has been hard at work. For the past two years, they have been working extensively with the City of Anaheim to improve the water quality in the Walnut Canyon Reservoir (WCR) and to create both a beautiful, functioning reservoir and a detailed and useful operations and maintenance (O&M) manual.
