New GIS Tool: Story Map

ESRI Story Maps let you combine authoritative maps with narrative text, images, and multimedia content.  In our story, we take the user to each drop structure along the Arroyo Simi Channel.  We show them if the drop structure is considered in good, poor or terrible condition with a green, blue or red icon, respectively.  We show the structure summary sheet with important information collected in the field.  The user has the ability to step through the images while the map pans to the appropriate structure, or the user can zoom in, zoom out and pan around as they wish.  With these new tools we can present our projects to the world in a very unique and informative way. Feel free to contact GIS if you have any questions, or would like to start a tour of your own.
